Construction Update
October 2025
What’s happening?

We are expecting our next construction certificate (CC2), early October, that will enable us to start digging lift pits and footings.
Mid-October we will start laying the foundations of the buildings.
What’s been happening?
-
What happened:
Demolition is now complete, a major milestone achieved.
Site team fully mobilised with work progressing rapidly.
Shoring wall over 60% complete.
Bulk excavation largely completed in the north-west section of the site.
What this means for the community:
Fewer disruptions now that demolition is complete.
Truck movements continue for spoil removal and concrete deliveries.
Rozelle Village is steadily taking shape, with foundations well underway.
-
What happened:
Piling completed – a major milestone.
Piling forms the deep foundation supports that hold up the entire building. Completing this means the site is ready for basements and above-ground construction.
Capping beams finished.
These concrete beams lock the piles together, creating a solid base for basement walls.
Shotcrete applied to basement walls.
Spray-on concrete that strengthens and waterproofs the basement.
Bulk excavation continued throughout the month
Digging out the earth to create spaces for basements and foundations.
What this means for the community:
